What they share

Both connect over USB to Windows and macOS with no drivers, both have a mute button and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for hearing yourself without delay, and both get Blue VO!CE voice effects through G HUB. Neither is documented by Logitech for console chat.

Patterns and resolution

The Yeti has four patterns (cardioid, figure-8, omni and stereo); the Nano has cardioid and omni. For game chat you use cardioid on either, so the extra patterns matter only for interviews or music. The Nano records at 24-bit, the Yeti at 16-bit; Discord compresses your voice far below either.

Desk and arm

The Yeti stands about 29.5 cm tall in its stand and weighs about 550 g without it, so it needs a sturdy arm. Logitech doesn't list the Nano's thread or weight on the page we read; check the arm adapter before buying one.
