Logitech G Yeti (Blue Yeti)
Logitech's price is $139.99. It has a mute button with a red light, gain, headphone volume and four patterns, and Blue VO!CE filters through G HUB.
Both are multi-pattern USB condensers with a mute control and a headphone jack, and neither maker documents console chat. Choose the Yeti for the lower maker price and Blue VO!CE voice effects. Choose the QuadCast 2 S for a monitor-mix control, a shock mount and a 3 m USB-C cable.

Both connect over USB to Windows and macOS, both have four pickup patterns, a mute control and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. For game chat, set either to cardioid and keep it close: a condenser this sensitive hears your keyboard and room too.
Both send your voice to headphones plugged into the mic with no computer delay. The QuadCast 2 S also has a mix control, so you can set how much of your own voice you hear against the game; on the Yeti you set your headphone volume.
The Yeti is about 550 g on its own and comes in a 1 kg stand that you remove to mount it on its 5/8-inch thread; it is long and heavy for a light arm. The QuadCast 2 S comes in a removable shock mount with a 3/8-inch thread and a 5/8-inch adapter. Check any arm's weight limit against the mic plus mount.
Neither Logitech nor HyperX documents PS5 or Xbox chat for these models. If you play on console, see the models that are documented there.
Connect the included USB cable, pick the Yeti in Windows and in Discord, set the pattern switch to cardioid and speak into the side with the Blue logo. Plug headphones into the mic to hear yourself.
Mount it in its shock mount on an arm, connect the 3 m USB-C cable to the Mac, pick it in Sound settings and in Discord, and set the monitor mix so you hear yourself at a comfortable level.
Connections and controls come from these model-specific documents. Manufacturer claims about sound are not independent tests.
